Third Thursday Interest group

Join us for an evening of Israeli dance instruction led by Sylvia Goffe and friends on November 10th from 7:00-9:00.  Due to previous commitments, the program will be held on the second Thursday this month.  The location is Pathways AcademyDirections to Pathways:  From Osuna turn left on Jefferson.  Before the next light at Singer you will turn right into the Vista West Business Complex.  The school is in the back of the complex and does not face the street.  The Asian Kitchen is the store that faces the street.  If you went to Singer you have gone too far.  Our usual fun fee of $5/member, $7/guest will apply.  Third Thursday Interest Group upcoming event--Chanukkah party at the home of Jana Druxman 4420 Rio Trumperos Ct. NW, on Thursday, December 15th, from 6:30-9:00 pm.  We will have potluck refreshments and a gift exchange.  Debbie Kapp will speak to us about advocating for Israel.  RSVP to Jana at mdruxman@comcast.net or 898-4057 by December 10th.

Tuesday Luncheon Group

We will not be getting together in November but on December 20th we are thrilled to announce that Bev Rogoff will entertain us with song and shtick. This will our Light One Candle fundraiser for Youth Aliyah and Young Judaea.  December 20th, 11:45 am, at Gourmet to Go, corner of San Pedro and Candelaria. Menu: Latkes and more. Cost is $15.  Please send your check, payable to Hadassah, to Gerry Kipper, 5632 Bosque Vista, Albuquerque, NM 87111, by December15th. Tuesday Afternoon Book Club

The daytime Hadassah Book Discussion Group meets on the
second Tuesday of each month from 1- 3 pm at Congregation Albert. Light refreshments are served.  There is a $4 charge, part of which goes to Hadassah and part for the cost of coffee and tea. Prospective new members may join us at any of our meetings.

ANNE HILLERMAN, Tony Hillerman's daughter, and DON STREL, Memories of Tony Hillerman through stories and photos Tony Hillerman’s daughter;

Don Bullis, Behind-the-scenes storeis of N.M. Statehood;

NAOMI SANDWEISS, History of the Albuquerque Jewish Community.

Registration begins at 9 am and lunch is included.

$25 pre-paid, $30 at the door, your check is your reservation.
